Alliance Automotive Group (AAG) is an automotive parts retailer. With sales locations in France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Poland, the Netherlands and Belgium, it can be seen as a truly European-oriented company. However, AAG noticed that making price changes was a time-consuming and tedious task still done by humans. This process could be automated with ease, and thus Yarado was engaged. Now AAG no longer has to sift through price lists, and even the reporting of these price changes no longer rests with the administrative department.
FTE saved
error-free price processing
Faster processing time of price changes
AAG has improved as an organization after they decided to deploy a software robot. Price changes are made faster, as well as error-free. Thus, the company has valuable and reliable data at its disposal.
Current pricing data would allow AAG to offer its customers a more attractive price than before.
Alliance Automotive Group (AAG) offers auto parts to sellers and garages in the Benelux. With a supply of as many as two million parts, it is vital that purchasing prices are constantly monitored. This is how AAG keeps its product information up-to-date. However, monitoring these prices takes a lot of time and effort. Yarado helps AAG by automating this process, updating prices immediately in the Product Information Management (PIM) system. So as soon as new price lists are available, they are passed on immediately.
With more than a hundred suppliers, AAG receives new price lists on a weekly basis. Processing these price updates became a particularly repetitive process due to the large amount of information. An employee had to manually retrieve the new price lists from the respective supplier's portal, and compare them to the price known to AAG in the PIM system, Product360. The slightest delay in this process caused prices to become out of date, which in turn led to inaccurate reporting of financial transactions, inventory costs, cash positions and sales activities.
Before AAG partnered with Yarado, an employee always had to log into the supplier's portal and import this new price list into Product360. Then the prices in the system had to be compared to the new prices to make sure changes had taken place. Each price change then had to be updated and approved by a product manager. In short, this was a time-consuming and inefficient process.
A software robot from Yarado was able to fully automate this process, making a direct impact on the company's operational activities. As quickly as possible, and without making mistakes, Yarado took over the tedious process. This saved AAG an FTE, while also entering prices more accurately into the system. Finally, the software robot also managed to establish a reliable and accurate flow of information by providing reporting in QlikView.
