Numidia is a global trader in dairy ingredients and raw materials. Together with Yarado, the company automated recurring checks across more than ten finance and supply chain processes. Standard cases are processed automatically, while exceptions are routed to specialists.

Thousands of records required the same administrative steps over and over. To process a supplier document, allocation file, or invoice, someone had to find the correct order, gather information from various sources, verify it against the rules, and record the next step.
Due to the high volume of records, employees in finance and supply chain spent most of their time on routine work. Standard records ended up in the same work queue as cases that actually required extra attention.

Even a simple record often meant multiple manual steps. Employees had to open attachments, find the corresponding order, compare data from different files and systems, check the rules, and update the next system.
Supplier documents had to be read and sent to the right team. Allocation files needed transport data and had to be linked to the correct orders. Invoices had to match purchase orders and logistics files before finance could proceed. Often, employees performed all these checks only to ultimately determine that everything was correct.
Numidia and Yarado established clear guidelines for each work process: which tasks automation is permitted to perform and when human intervention is required. The automation extracts information from emails, documents, spreadsheets, or invoice queues, organizes it into a fixed structure, and validates the data against Numidia’s rules.
For transport invoices, the system verifies the legal entity and invoice details before records proceed.
Purchase invoices are matched against purchase orders and logistics files. This includes verifying costs, VAT, and total amounts. Within the supply chain, AI extracts information from supplier documents and routes it to the appropriate team. Allocation files are supplemented with data on transport centers from Power BI, after which the corresponding records in Dynamics 365 F&O are updated.
If information is missing or a record does not meet the requirements, the automation does not process it. The record is either skipped or added to a report for the responsible specialist.
Numidia’s teams no longer need to open every record to determine if it is routine work. Standard cases can proceed automatically, while exceptions remain visible for correction, approval, or review.
This allows employees to maintain control over decisions that require context, without having to repeat the same checks for every simple record.
Now that more than ten work processes have been automated, standard records move forward without employees having to repeatedly read, link, or update information in systems. As a result, Numidia's teams can focus their attention on exceptions and tasks that require their expertise.
Automation only proceeds if a record meets the established rules. If information is missing, there is a discrepancy, or something unexpected happens, the case remains visible and is sent to the right person for a decision.
Let’s see what can be automated.
